Description
Built at the middle of the 19th Century (1857) as a ground floor resthouse. Architect: unknown. The first adaptation was in 1886, when the eclectic style first floor was added by Géza Koczka architect. The second adaptation was in 1904, when the Korzo str. facade and some of the interior spaces gained the spirit of Münich Secession (AN). The architect was Titusz Macskovics. The facades were during the 1985/86. year completely reconstructed, when the complete building was demolished and rebuilt with a new facade - the replica of the original one. From the Vuk Karadžić street, the facade was rebuilt of facade brickjs. The building completly lost its authenticity. The building is abandoned, neglected, endangered. (SK1788)
